The objective of the South Plainfield Business Association is to organize and unite the businesses of South Plainfield in a manner that would promote the development of local businesses and create a better business environment throughout the borough.

PRESIDENT - SOUTH PLAINFIELD OBSERVER

Nancy has lived in South Plainfield for over 40 years. She has been President of the South Plainfield Business Association for the past two years, and a member for 14 years. Publisher and Editor of the South Plainfield Observer since its inception 15 years ago, and President and owner of G&G Graphics for over 30 years.

Besides running a newspaper and a graphic business, Nancy has been involved in the Taste of South Plainfield, the annual Golf Outing, the Council Debates, High School Career Day, Junior Journalist Contest as well as many other local activities.

Marjorie M. Reedy has been a resident of South Plainfield since 1976.

She served on the Board of Education for a total of 9 years – serving 2 years as President.

She has served on the South Plainfield Vision 2001 Education Foundation since 2001 – serving as President since 2002 to 2018.

She has served on the South Plainfield Business Association from 2010 to 2022 as VP.

She is also a lifetime member of the SP Historical Society.

Currently works as a bookkeeper for Rupcoe Plumbing & Heating.

Bob and Debbie Boyle are the founding Presidents of the Boyle Memorial Foundation, a 501 (c) (3), along with Mary Ann, Megan, Michael and Patrick Boyle, executive Board Members, formed the James and Doris Boyle Memorial Foundation sixteen years ago.

The Foundation was formed in honor of James and Doris Boyle, who lived in South Plainfield for forty five (45) years and were volunteers in South Plainfield for Ponytail softball, Jr. Baseball Club Coaches, Sacred Heart School and Church and James was a Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus.

TREASURER - COLUMBIA BANK

Shannon is the Branch Manager of Columbia Bank and celebrated her 15 year anniversary with the bank in 2012. She lives in South Plainfield with her husband Paul and sons Christopher and Dylan. Shannon is involved in many community organizations.

She is a member of the South Plainfield Rotary, South Plainfield Woman’s Club, Kennedy School PTSO, Middle School PTO, and Treasurer of the South Plainfield Education Foundation.

Tom Stillman is owner of Stillman Photography Services providing photographic services to corporations, individuals and local businesses. 

Cathy Herman

Cathy Herman

President South Plainfield Business Association

Cathy is a member of the South Plainfield Public Celebrations Committee, and a board member for We Are Loved a 501c3 Non Profit for Foster Children. For 20 years, she has helped Shirley Thompon during the Christmas Holiday with collecting and purchasing gifts for underprivileged children in town. Cathy is also involved with Christmas in July and assists other organizations with vendor events and fundraisers.
